Viti National Union of Taukei Workers General Secretary, Taniela Tabu has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth Barracks for questioning.
Union President, Aseri Manulavu says two soldiers arrived at Tabu's home at about 6 o’clock this morning and took him in for questioning.
Tabu is yet to be released.
Meanwhile the military media cell only confirms that Tabu was brought into QEB this morning. No further details have been provided.
Military spokesperson, Major Neumi Leweni is expected to comment later today.
