Viti National Union of Taukei Workers General Secretary Taniela Tabu has today confirmed that he will not file any police complaint against the military after claiming that he was allegedly mistreated at QEB last week.
Tabu said the matter will no longer be pursued any further.
When contacted this afternoon, Commander of the 3FIR, Lieutenant Colonel Ratu Tevita Uluilakeba Mara maintained that Tabu was taken in for questioning and then referred to police.
Lieutenant Colonel Mara said Tabu was not mistreated as earlier claimed and he never spoke to him when he was taken into QEB.
