Former Flying Fijian first five eight Alipate Tani is likely to wear the number 10 jumper for defending Digicel Cup champion Nadroga when they will take on Tavua this Saturday.

Tani has been training with the Nadroga team for the past weeks and has changed his provincial side this season after playing with the Navosa team last year.

The Stallions have lost Jonetani Ralulu to the Fiji Warriors team while Jiuta Lutumailagi has been ruled out after he was injured in a car accident.

In their last outing against Namosi, coach Esala Nauga used fullback Simeli Koniferedi at first five eight, but with Tani joining the side it has brought a lot of relief for the coaching staff.

Nadroga will take on Tavua in the feature match of the 4th round of the Digicel Cup on Saturday at 3pm at Lawaqa Park.
