While there has been a lot of concerns raised about the prescription of Tamiflu to pregnant women with confirmed Pandemic H1N1, Regional WHO official Doctor Jacob Kool said studies have shown that it is safe for them to take.
Dr Kool said while the Tamiflu drug is fairly new, tests have shown that it is safe.
Dr Kool had however stressed that pregnant women should follow precautionary measures to avoid contracting the virus.
