Papua New Guinea Club Champions Moni Plus Tamaraws recorded their first win in the Fiji Easter Basketball Club Championship beating Outcydaz 45-25 last night.

Tamaraws looked much better in their second game as they picked up on their defense shutting out Pacific Harbour based side Outcydaz.

Team captain, Wally Parapa said he was proud of his team’s defense which was their weakness in the first game.

Tamaraws lost their first game yesterday to defending champions Saints.

Meanwhile, looking at the games played last night in the women’s, Dynamic Reds thrashed Mystics 33-9, Sparks hammered Saints 39-18 while Golden Bati beat Chances 33-6.

In the men’s draw, Warriors beat Mighty Mights 37-17, Boston White won over New Era 49-22 while Saints thrashed Macpacers 51-21.
