Vodafone Flying Fijians coach, John McKee said powerful Taranaki centre, Setareki Tamanivalu who already has been approached by four of New Zealand’s Super Rugby franchises except for the Blues is in a tough position to contest a spot in the Fiji 15s team.

Tamanivalu’s form has also attracted interest of teams from Australia and South Africa.

Mckee said he recently spoke with Tamanivalu and he certainly is a future prospect for Fiji.

Tamanivalu had earlier said that his dreams lay within New Zealand's shores.

The former Lelean Memorial School student said that his father has advised him to play in New Zealand as it is the best place to learn since they are the No. 1 in the world.
