Having being a spectator all his life, Alikibia Tamanitokula is grateful for having the opportunity to showcase his talent.
The 19yr-old from Sawaieke in Gau is one of the 20 finalists in the Alliance Franchise organised FMF VTY Fijian Idol.
He said that singing is a huge part of his life and he now wants to take the centre stage.
Tamanitokula along with 20 other youths will take part in a workshop organised on Friday to help in their stage techniques.
Idol Coordinator Reverend James Bhagwan said the workshop is not only to help the singers during the competition, but to also equip them with the skills in future performances.
The Fiji Music Fest 2008 will be held on the 21st of June.
