Fiji soccer’s top choice goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau has finally made the decision to remain with Lautoka for the rest of the season.

Tamanisau confirmed to Fijivillage this afternoon that he held negotiations with Rewa soccer officials but could not come to an agreement.

He added that he may change club at the end of the year but will feature for Lautoka at the Ink Mobile Battle of the Giants.

Lautoka will take on Navua in the first round of the Ink Mobile Battle of the Giants this Sunday at Subrail Park in Labasa.

Meanwhile a new official record has been broken in local soccer yesterday after Tailevu Naitasiri defeated Levuka 22-1 in their Premier Division match.

The previous record was set last month by Nasinu after beating Tailevu Naitasiri 18-1.
