Rewa soccer team goalkeeper, Simione Tamanisau has been chosen as the captain of the Fiji soccer team to the Pacific games.
Roy Krishna has been appointed the Vice Captain.
National team Director, Anil Sharma said the team is in high spirit and players are fully aware how difficult it will be to bring gold from New Caledonia.
The Fiji soccer team departs to New Caledonia on Wednesday and will play Tahiti at 4pm this Saturday in its first match.
