Rewa soccer team goalkeeper, Simione Tamanisau has confirmed that he does not wish to play for Papua New Guinea's Hekari United in the remaining O-league matches.
Tamanisau is now waiting for his International Transfer Certificate from Hekari as he wants to play for his home team Rewa in the Champions league.
Tamanisau who was outstanding in the FIFA Club World cup recently could not play for Rewa yesterday in the opening match of the Champions league as Hekari United is holding on to his release.
The former Lelean Memorial school student said his allegiance lies with his home team and not any overseas club.
In the Champions league matches this Wednesday, Rewa takes on Navua at 5pm at the TFL stadium and Lautoka hosts Ba at Churchill Park.
The Ba and Lautoka match kicks off at 7pm and you can hear the commentary of the match on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
