The Hekari soccer team has refused to provide the International Transfer Certificate of Rewa soccer goalkeeper, Simione Tamanisau.

This now means that Tamanisau will not be able to feature for the Delta Tigers this evening against Navua in the Champions league match.

Hekari United's Media officer, Henry Morabang told Fijivillage Sports today that Tamanisau joined Hekari United on the understanding that he plays for the Papua New Guinea club in the O-league matches.

Morabang added that this will disqualify Tamanisau from playing for Rewa however he will be able to play for the Fiji soccer team.

If Hekari United maintains its stand on Tamanisau then the Rewa goalkeeper will not be able to play for the Delta Tigers till April end.

In the Champions League matches tonight, Rewa takes on Navua at 6.30pm at Ratu Cakobau Park and at 7pm, Lautoka hosts Ba at Churchill park.

You can catch the live commentary of the Ba-Lautoka match on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
