Rewa soccer team goalkeeper, Simione Tamanisau is still waiting for word from his superiors in the Fiji Police Force if he will be released from work to play in FIFA club World cup in Dubai.

Fiji's top choice goalkeeper who guided Rewa to win two major soccer titles this year has been registered with Papua New Guinea based Hekari United.

When asked, Tamanisau stated he wants to play in such a high prolific tournament but he will have to wait for his superiors call.

Meanwhile, Police Commissioner, Brigadier General, Iowane Naivalurua said he has some knowledge on the case and he will need to talk with Tamanisau's division head to see if the top choice goalkeeper can be released.

Hekari United has so far registered seven Fiji based players including Solomons lad Abraham Iniga who plays for Rewa.
