Flying Fijians fullback and Fiji sevens play maker Metuisela Talebula will earn $6000 Euros a month which is equivalent to 13,317 Fijian dollars at his new French club Bordeaux.
The former Lelean Memorial school student was farewelled this morning by Flying Fijians and National sevens coaches Inoke Male, Alifereti Dere, Etuate Waqa and FRU CEO Manasa Baravilala.
The 22-year-old kept his promise earlier in the year that he will play for Fiji first before pursing his career overseas.
Talebula said he still has some unfinished business in sevens.
Talebula will leave for France this Friday.
