As the Prime Minister continues his visit of Kadavu today, the villagers of Talaulia in Nabukelevu are grateful for finally getting a chance to show the authorities the difficulties they face in accessing medical help.

Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama yesterday stopped over at the village of Talaulia where he visited the proposed site of the new nursing station and he told the villagers that Government will work hard to ensuring that their needs are met.

The Turaga ni Koro of Talaulia Amenatave Marawa said with the absence of a nursing station at their village, the option for them, will be either a two to three hour boat ride to Vunisea which costs $20, or a three mile hike over the hills to get to Daviqele where another nursing station is located.

Marawa said the villagers are happy with the visit by the Prime Minister, as they can be rest assured that something will be done.

The Prime Minister's visit of Kadavu continues today.
