"Taki Mada! GROG, Coups and everything in between "is the latest theatre production by the University of South Pacific Theatre Arts Society students who will show the ordinary yaqona drinking in Fiji in an extraordinary way.
The Head of the School of Language, Arts and Media, Professor Ian Gaskell said the public will witness a production that brings together and incorporates the various elements of the art world.
Gaskell said the script of Taki Mada was put together by student and this theatre, dance, music, ceremony and audio visual extravaganza presents ordinary yaqona drinking in Fiji and how it is a function of life in Fiji.
The play starts today at USP's AusAid Performance Space and will run for four nights till Saturday.
Tickets are $5 dollars and can be purchased from the USP Book Center.
