Former Fiji 7's coach Waisale Serevi has not signed a contract with the Taiwan Rugby Union as yet.

Speaking to Village sports from Taiwan, Serevi said he had a meeting with the Taiwan Rugby Union officials but nothing has been confirmed at this stage.

Serevi said there are few terms and conditions and if Taiwan Rugby Union agrees then a deal could be signed before he returns home on the 28th of this month.

His wife, Karalaini Serevi has confirmed that she got few documents from Fiji Rugby Union and sent it to the Taiwan Rugby Union for their analysis and if things go well then he will sign a contract to coach the Taiwan national team in next year's Hong Kong 7's.

Meanwhile, Fiji 7's coach Joe Savou said once Serevi signs the contract with the Taiwan Rugby Union, then he won't be eligible to play for Fiji as his last wish is to play in Hong Kong and be a swansong to his 7's career.
