The Tailevu team management know that Northland will give them a good run for their money in their Digicel Cup match on Saturday.

Tailevu team manager, Roki Ravai said Northland have proved that they will not be an easy team to beat after winning eight of the eleven matches last year.

Ravai added last season, Northland was edged by Lautoka by 20-21, Tavua 6-5 and Nadroga by 20-22, and the scores in itself indicate that they will put up a strong fight this weekend.

Rugby pundits view Northland as the younger brother of the bigger union, Tailevu, however, Ravai added that it will no longer be the case as both are eyeing for a win, to improve their standings on the points table.

The Northland/Tailevu match kicks off at 3pm Saturday at Gatward Park in Korovou.

Meanwhile, a live-commentary of the match between Lautoka and Suva, that will be held at 3pm on Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka, can be heard on our sister station Viti FM.

In other Digicel Cup matches on Saturday, Nadi meet Ovalau, Rewa host Nadroga, Tavua meet Naitasiri and Navosa host Namosi at Vatureba Park.

All games kick off at 3pm.
