Defending Farebrother trophy holder’s Tailevu has accepted the challenge and has admitted that Nadroga should be respected as they are the giants of local rugby in Fiji.

Tailevu head coach Lance Whippy said they will not rely on past results as it will come down to which team will play the full 80 minutes of rugby.

Tailevu defeated Nadroga 27-24 early this year in the Digicel Cup but history favors Nadroga in the Farebrother Sullivan trophy having beaten them last year 43-26 at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.

Meanwhile, Nadroga with a star studded lineup has keep their intentions clear to become the champions of local rugby by winning both the Digicel and the Farebrother Sullivan trophy.
