The Tailevu Provincial Council presented a "vakavinavinaka" to Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama in Suva yesterday to thank the government for the development works in the province.
The delegation was led by the chiefs of the vanua of Tailevu including Ratu Jioji Cakobau, Ratu Jope Seniloli, Ratu Mai Namalata and the chairman of the Provincial Council Josefa Serulagilagi.
The main reason for the visit to Commodore Bainimarama was to thank the Prime Minister for the government's assistance to Tailevu and the developments in the province initiated by the government.
