About 203 students of Cautata District School in Tailevu were happy with their new classroom block when it was opened by Permanent Secretary for Provincial Development Manasa Vaniqi.
Head Teacher Lodoviko Koroi thanked government for the assistance programme completed under the building grant allocation that was shifted to the Ministry of Provincial Development from the Ministry of Education.
Koroi also thanked the three villagers of Cautata, Waicoka and Vatoa in Tailevu for their contribution towards the development of education in the village.
Meanwhile Permanent Secretary for Provincial Development Manasa Vaniqi said the construction of the new classroom block has provided the students with a better learning environment.
Vaniqi added government supplies the building materials which cost $80,000 while the construction work was done by the community.
