The Tailevu Rugby team is hoping to hand Suva their first defeat in the Digicel Cup competition, when the two sides clash this afternoon.

Team manager Ravai Fatiaki said although they will field in-experienced players in today's match, still they have high hopes of a victory.

Fatiaki said they would miss the services of Nemia Kenatale, Waisea Naulago, Senitiki Tuivuya, Kelemedi Vosuqa and the injured Ravai Fatiaki Junior who are with the Fiji A side at the moment.

Tailevu lies in 11th place on the Digicel Cup points standings and have not won a game this season while Suva sits on top of the table after two wins from two games.

The Tailevu / Suva game will start at 3pm at Suva Grammar Ground.

In other games today, Navosa plays Rewa, Lautoka take on Northland, Namosi hosts Nadroga, Nadi meets Tavua and Naitasiri plays Ovalau.
