The Tailevu rugby team successfully defended the Farebrother Sullivan Cup trophy against Naitasiri today.

They won the match by 10 points to 6 and in their third defence Tailevu will play Suva next week.

Meanwhile, the Rewa 15's rugby team will play in the major division from next season.

The B Division champions this afternoon defeated Vatukoula in the Promotion Relegation series by 24 points to 13. The loss now see Vatukoula being demoted to B-Division.

Rewa team captain Tevita Deve said they are ready to take on the giants in the major division such as Nadroga, Suva, Nadi and Naitasiri.
