The Tailevu South Netball team created a major upset in the Fiji Primary Schools netball IDC yesterday after they beat the under 11 and under 13 defending champions, Nasinu.

Nasinu was beaten in the under 11 by Tailevu South by 6 goals to 5 and they also beat their under 13 team by 9 goals to 5.

In another upset at the tournament, in the Under-14 grade Nasinu beat defending champions Suva, with an eight point margin, beating Suva by 12 goals to 4.

In other results from yesterday's competition: in the under 10 TFL Suva beat Northland 13-1, Cakaudrove beat Naitasiri 5-1, in the under 14 grade, Lautoka beat Labasa 24-5.

Suva are the reigning champions in the under 10, 12 and 14 grades, while Nasinu is defending their title in the under 9, 11 and 13 grades.

The Fiji Primary Schools Netball IDC ends tomorrow.
