Tailevu confident of good outing
Last year they had the big names like Rupeni Caucau, Jim Nagusa, Iliesa Keresoni, Tikiko Uluiviti and Sakeo Latianara in their line-up but now they will rely on their young team to try and cause an upset.
Coach Lance Whippy has a major task on his shoulders, in trying to mould a team that has not done well in the Digicel Cup and has only training the side in the past 2 weeks.
Whippy knows the task at hand will not be an easy for his boys who will be up against a side that is boosted with a lot of national reps and guided by 7s Coach Iliesa Tanivula.
But he is confident like in the past where they have upset former champions Lautoka in 2003 and Nadroga in 2007 they can repeat that performance against Nadi.
The Nadi and Tailevu match will kick off on Saturday at 3pm and live commentary on our sister radio station Viti FM.
