The lawyer of the Tailevu Rugby Union has served the Fiji Rugby Union the court injunction papers to stop the Digicel Cup semi final between Nadroga and Namosi from going ahead tomorrow.

The Tailevu Rugby Union filed the action against the Fiji Rugby Union in the Suva High Court today.

Tailevu President Maika Rainima said they remain firm that the decision made by the FRU Games Committee and the Independent Games Tribunal was unfair.

High Court Judge, Justice Corea has adjourned the matter to the 13th of August for both parties to be present.

Tailevu is protesting that Namosi fielded an unregistered player and if the decision goes in their favor then they will replace Namosi in the semifinal.

Meanwhile, FRU Operations Manager Vilikesa Rinavuaka said they will be meeting with their lawyers in the next hour.
