The Tailevu rugby team has spent most of the week doing in-house training, as they prepare for their fifth defense of the prestigious Farebrother Sullivan Cup against Lautoka this afternoon.
When contacted by Village Sports, Tailevu team official Mosese Bakaniceva said that the main reason was because of the bad weather, but he was adamant that the match fitness level of the boys was up to par, and that they are ready for the challenge.
Bakaniceva adds that Tailevu will not be taking the Sugar City side lightly.
The Lautoka/Tailevu Farebrother challenge match kicks off at 3pm this afternoon at the Vodafone Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori and you can catch a live-commentary of the match on our sister-radio station Viti FM.
