The Tailevu Provincial Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday at the Ratu Cakobau House in Nausori and high on the agenda is the appointment of a Chairman.
Former Chairman Josefa Seruilagilagi said he's position as Chairman was no longer valid following the abrogation of the 1997 Constitution by President Ratu Josefa Iloilo.
Deputy Chairman Adi Samanunu Cakobau is expected to lead the two days meeting on the 26th and 27th of this month.
Meanwhile Seruilagilagi said he will be attending the meeting as the government nominee, adding he is ready if he is re-appointed as chairman.
