Fiji’s number one ranked middleweight boxer Opeti Tagi has a chance to be ranked 15th under the World Boxing Organization.
Tagi will fight New Zealand Professional Boxing Association middleweight champion Gunnar Jackson this Friday.
Boxing Commission of Fiji Director Malakai Veisamasama said they are hoping for the best because if Tagi wins this fight then he will be ranked 15th under the WBO.
Tagi will leave this Thursday and will fight Jackson at the Papatoetoe Cosmopolitan Club this Friday.
