Fiji's number one ranked middleweight boxer Opeti Tagi's dream of winning the World Boxing organisations Oriental title was dashed as he lost to New Zealand boxer Gunner Jackson.

Tagi was knocked out in the second round by Jackson who is also the New Zealand middle weight champion.

Fiji Boxing Commission Director Malakai Veisamasama said Tagis weight loss is one of the reasons he lost the fight.

Tagi also lost a chance to be ranked 15th under the World Boxing Organization.

Meanwhile, Jackson is now crowned the new holder of the World Boxing organisations Oriental title.
