The Vodafone Ba side has lost their second O-League match against Tafea FC after losing 2-1.
Tafea FC scored the lone goal fourteen minutes into the first half and Ba’s Avinesh Swamy equalised into the sixteenth minute of the second half.
Ba received a penalty in the 9th minute of the second half after Josaia Bukalidi got kicked from behind but Malakai Tiwa could not capitalise as his kick was saved by goalkeeper David Chillia.
The hosts pressured throughout the last quarter of the game and managed to get a penalty in the 39th minute.
Sampson Obed didn’t make any mistake from the spot kick as Tafea FC edged the men in Black in the dying minutes.
Ba will now travel to the Solomons to meet Kossa FC on Monday in another O-League match.
