Tadra Kahani to kick off tonight
Primary school students as young as 6 years old will take the stage at the Vodafone Arena at 7 o’clock tonight, to tell everyone about their dream stories.
These children have prepared for months for the biggest show in the country with schools utilising the skills of the students. Some are involved in the designing of the backdrops through their artistic skills while others concentrate on song and dance to send their message to the people.
Interim Education Minister, Netani Sukanaivalu said he will definitely not miss the show tonight and tomorrow, as it is an explosion of the creative arts of the students of the country.
Organisers Total Event Company Manager, Loretta Jackson said everything is on track for a great show tonight.
There are 5 primary schools taking part this year in the primary division and their themes are:
Tacirua Primary School with The girl child of today is the woman of tomorrow Draiba Fijian with Noqu Kalou Noqu Vanua Nadi Christian Academy with United hearts United future Nabitu District School with Endangered species.
Meanwhile the defending champion in the Primary school division for Tadra Kahani, Veiuto Primary School is confident of successfully defending its title for the fourth time.
School teacher, Anare Maivalu said their students’ performance based on the theme, What The Future Holds For A Child in Fiji, will be an eye opener for many people.
The Primary Division final and preview of the Senior Division will be held tonight while we will have the Senior final tomorrow night at the Vodafone Arena. The show kicks off at 7 o’clock tonight.
Tickets, which are selling fast, are on sale at the Boom Box and at the Home of Village at 231 Waimanu Road, Suva.
