Tadra Kahani has relevent themes
These are the words of Fiji Prisons Correctional Services Yellow Ribbon coordinator Isireli Dausiga on Rishikul Sanatan College's theme for the event which is "Yellow Ribbon Program - Changing the thoughts of all through acceptance".
Dausiga said the 34% of the 877 inmates in prisons around the country are youths between the ages of 16 and 25 adding that Rishikul's highlighting of the issue will help prevent youths going to prison.
The Yellow Ribbon Program was launched in October 2008 as a form of rehabilitation for prisoners.
This year's Tadra Kahani kicks off at the Vodafone Arena on Wednesday night.
Tadra Kahani will be held from Wednesday to Friday and you can get your tickets from the home of Fijivillage here at 231 Waimanu Road and at the Boom Box at Downtown Boulevard.
