Alot of manpower and time is needed before anyone can be taken to task for corruption.
Those are the words of FICAC Director for investigations, Sanaila Seru as the country marks International Anti-Corruption day today.
While addressing visitors at their open-day, Seru said that though close to 9,000 complaints have been lodged with the Commission, investigations will take months to complete.
Seru adds that while they have only had 9 convictions since their inception in 2007, there is more to come.
Since 2007, FICAC received close to 9000 complaints of alleged corrupt practices within Government Ministries and commercial arms of Government as well as NGOs that have received Government assistance.
