A dream becoming a reality. The Tacirua Primary School team for the 2007 Tadra Kahani has received a timely boost after receiving financial support from the Ministry of Women.
The Ministry donated $500 dollars which students are using for their costumes and backdrops.
Teacher, Miliana Ratulevu, said the assistance is timely.
Their theme "The Girl Child of today is the Woman of Tomorrow" is in line with the program launched by the Ministry earlier this month.
This year's Tadra Kahani will see a total of 14 schools taking part.
Veiuto Primary, Tacirua Primary, Draiba Fijian, Nabitu District and Nadi Christian Academy will take part in the Primary Division.
Monfort Boys Town, RKS, Ratu Latianara Memorial, Laucala Bay Secondary, Saint Bedes College, International School Nadi, International Secondary, Rishikul Sanatan and LDS College will compete in the Senior Division. The Primary Division final and preview of the secondary division will be held next Wednesday while we will have the Secondary final on Thursday night.
Tickets are now on sale at the Boom Box and at the Home of Village at 231 Waimanu Road, Suva.
