Digicel Fiji Sevens team member Leone Tabuarua got an emotional farewell from his fellow colleagues at the National Fire Authority base at Walu Bay today.

Tabuarua is the second player in the history of the National Fire Authority rugby club to play in the IRB World Sevens Series, the first being Paula Maisiri who played in the 2001/2002 series.

The Gold Coast Sevens tournament kicks off next Saturday.

Fiji will play Scotland at 2.42pm in its first pool match next Saturday.

In their second match, Fiji will play Tonga at 5.58pm and will then play Australia at 9.46pm.
