Former Flying Fijians and Northland coach Ilivasi Tabua has raised concern ahead of their Farebrother rugby challenge next week.
Tabua said he is unhappy about the timing of the release of the Farebrother challenge fixtures.
Tabua added as a coach he needs the fixtures to be released earlier as he will try to map out a plan for his challenge especially when most of the players are in the village.
The former Wallaby also said the Northland rugby board will meet this week to discuss whether they will go ahead with the challenge or follow a similar step taken by Ovalau.
Meanwhile, Fiji Rugby Union operations manager Vilikesa Rinavuaka said the Farebrother Sullivan Cup challenge fixtures are always released this time of the year.
Rinavuaka added they can’t help Ovalau as there is no sponsor for the Farebrother Cup challenge.
Nadroga will play Tailevu this Saturday in the first Farebrother challenge.
