Tabua admits most senior players failed to settle
Speaking to Village Sports after the game Tabua said that while most of his players are playing top level rugby in Europe, rugby fans should understand that the first game you played in the Ruby World Cup will always be difficult.
Tabua highlighted that he spoke to some of his senior players after the close win and they agreed that they play below their best in the game.
Fiji scored a bonus point win with four tries, two of them going to Akapusi Qera and one each to vice Captain Kele Leawere and Seru Rabeni.
At half-time Fiji had a slim lead of 10 points to 9 with a penalty to Little and a run away try from open-side Akapusi Qera from inside Fiji's own 22 meter line.
The side was also reduced to 14 men after wing, Filimoni Delasau was sent off because of a high tackle.
Meanwhile, Springboks coach Jake White has confirmed that Wikus van Heerden will start at flanker in place of the suspended Schalk Burger for the crunch World Cup Pool A clash with England on Saturday morning.
Burger was originally set to start, with Van Heerden on the bench.
However this morning Burger was handed a four match ban for a high tackle on the Samoan half-back Junior Polu.
The South African team is appealing against what they termed a "shocking and incomprehensible" four match suspension handed on Burger.
South Africa will take on England on Saturday morning at 7am.
