Flying Fijians coach Ilivasi Tabua after consultations with the local and overseas based coaches has already handed in the names of Fijian players who he thinks are fit to make the cut for the Pacific Islanders team.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Tabua said that the final selection of the team will be based on the individual performance of the boys and the decision will be entirely made by the PIRA Board, after liaising with the national coaches from Samoa, Tonga and Fiji.
Meanwhile, Tabua has shortlisted 10 players form Fiji in Mosese Rauluni, Filimoni Delasau, Kameli Ratuvou, Sireli Naqelevuki, Timoci Nagusa, Semisi Naevo, Graham Dewes, Netani Talei, Waisea Luveniyali and injured Akapusi Qera to make the squad.
He will also include players from Tonga and Samoa but the PIRA Board will decide on the final squad. The Islanders will play England on November 8th, France a week later before Italy on November 22nd.
