Flour Mills of Fiji (FMF) Flying Fijians coach Ilivasi Tabua has officially accepted to coach the Pacific Islanders rugby team.
Tabua was approached early this year by PIRA chairman Keni Dakuidreketi to lead the team on the tour of United Kingdom.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Tabua said he is now in the process of selecting his assistants from Samoa and Tonga.
Tabua said although he has been selected as coach, it does not mean that most of the Fiji team players will be in the Pacific Islands team.
The Pacific Islands rugby team will tour the UK in November with test matches yet to be confirmed.
