Pacific Sprint King Banuve Tabakaucoro says he is planning to retire from athletics after the Rio Olympics next year.
Tabakaucoro recently broke Jone Delai’s 100m record of 10.26 seconds to set a new national record of 10.22secs.
He says his next aim is to qualify for the Olympics which he will need to run below 10.16 seconds in the 100m.
Tabakaucoro says after the Rio Olympics, he will be focusing on other plans.
He says he may look at other sports with rugby not the only option.
He will also be taking part in the Pacific Games in PNG which will be held from the 4th to the 18th of July.
