“This the first time I will be defending my title at the Pacific Mini Games and I would like to rock the crowd as I always do".
These are the words of the defending Mini Games blue ribbon champion Banuve Tabakaucoro who was hosted by Digicel Fiji today.
Tabakaucoro will be Team Fiji's official flag bearer.
He said he is ready to win 3 gold medals and if he has to run the 4x400m relay, which will be confirmed later, he will try his best and win four gold medals.
He added that he will get tough competition from the PNG athletes in the 100 and 200m events.
Tabakaucoro also said that he has learnt a lot at the World Championship and it will help him better his performance at the Mini Games.
The Pacific Mini Games will be held in Wallis and Futuna from next Tuesday.
