The fastest man in the Pacific has challenged the intermediate and senior boys taking part in the Coca Cola Games this weekend.
Banuve Tabakaucoro said any athlete that breaks his Coca Cola Games record in the 100m and 200m will be rewarded.
Tabakaucoro said he will personally reward them with $200.
Tabakaucoro’s Senior Boys 100 metres record is 10.43 seconds and his record in the 200 metres is 21.04 seconds.
His 100 metres record in the intermediate grade is 10.71 seconds while his 200 metres record stands at 21.70 seconds.
Queen Victoria School’s Ilaitia Waqa’s 100 metres time in the Tailevu Zone Senior Boys final was 11.39 seconds while he clocked a time of 22.44 seconds in the 200 metres final.
Albert Miller Junior won gold for Marist in the Suva Zone 2 senior boys 100 metres final with a time of 11.43 seconds.
Meanwhile, the favourite to take out the intermediate boys 100m and 200m titles is Marist Brothers High School’s Keasi Naidroka.
Naidroka ran a time of 10.81 seconds in the 100m Suva Zone 2 meet this year.
These are manual times.
Meanwhile, the Coca-Cola Games begin at 4pm tomorrow and will end on Saturday at the ANZ stadium.
