Pacific's fastest man Banuve Tabakaucoro is hoping he will clock some good times today at the 92nd Australian Athletics Championships in Melbourne, Australia so he can qualify for the Commonwealth games in Scotland in July.
Tabakaucoro will take part in the 100 and 200 metre heats this afternoon.
He said he is excited about the competition.
Tabakaucoro's best time is 10.33 seconds.
Meanwhile, yesterday Tabakacucoro's sponsor Digicel Fiji assisted him financially and he said that he is in top shape and can't wait to run against some of the best in the region in Australia.
