Sprint king Banuve Tabakaucoro grabbed his second gold in the Oceania Athletics Championship after winning the 100m this afternoon.

Tabakaucoro clocked a time of 10.65secs in the final.

The Bau bullet yesterday broke the 200m record of the Oceania Championships with a new time of 21.08 seconds.
 
Meanwhile, Marist Brothers High School student Isikeli Waqa settled for Bronze in the mens High Jump competition while fellow student Simione Isimeli settled in 4th place of the mens Triple Jump.

Coca-Cola Games sprint queen Sisilia Seavula failed to qualify for the 100m semifinals while Jasper Williams High School student Mereseini Naidau finished in last place during the women's 800m final.

The Fiji team finished with 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze.
