Coca Cola Games Blue Ribbon champion Banuve Tabakaucoro is in form to book a spot in the national team to the Pacific games after blitzing the tracks in the finals this morning.

Tabakaucoro came first in the 100m this morning beating Lepani Naivalu who came in second, while Suva Grammar's Waisale Ledua came third.

The biggest surprise of the day was when former national rep Niko Verekauta came in fifth.

In the girls division, Saint Joseph Secondary’s Sisilia Seavula edged Elenoa Sailosi of ACS taking the first spot in a personal best time of 12sec.

 
Currently underway at the final athletics trials at the TFL Stadium is the hurdles.
