Pacific Sprint King Banuve Tabakaucoro and Javelin thrower Leslie Copeland are both being considered for the wild card entry for next month’s Rio Olympics.
Fiji Team Manager, Joe Rodan Jnr says they are waiting for the reply from the International Association of Athletics Federation on who will be picked as the wild card entry from Fiji.
Rodan says both athletes have worked hard but only one will go to the Olympics.
Rodan says the IAAF and the International Olympic Committee will send their response to FASANOC.
He adds that they expect the announcement to be made today or in the next 24 hours.
