The Training and Productivity Authority of Fiji is expected to raise its volume and quality of training as the country faces a severe shortage of skills resulting from continuous and mass exodus of skilled workers.

TPAF Director General, Jone Usamate said many of our skilled people have migrated for better pay and living conditions.

He said demand for skilled labour in countries such as Australia, New Zealand and more recently Guam and Papua New Guinea has escalated over the years.
