With the time frame for the Telephone Registration extended for another month, Service Providers Telecom Fiji Limited has urged it's customers to take advantage of the extension period and to register now.
Group Manager Marketing and Public Relations Vanessa Kilner said they are happy with the extended time frame and they will be able to register their customers who are still unregistered.
The registration period ended on Saturday and Kilner said they would not have been able to register all their customers.
The government has extended the deadline for registration of land line and mobile phones for another 30 days under the Telephone Services decree.
Trade and Communications Minister Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum said following a request from Vodafone and Digicel, they have decided to extend the registration period until September 22nd.
Sayed Khaiyum said there will be no further extensions when the current deadline ends in 30 days.
