TFL customers can expect a reduction in international call rates and internet charges.
This was announced by TFL's acting Chief Executive Officer Sakeasi Seru in a press conference yesterday.
Seru said TFL's access to the Southern Cross cable in about three months time, will have an expected reduction in international calls and internet costs by 30% to 50%.
However, after the Commerce Commissions determination that the reduction be effective from the 1st of next month, TFL's initial reduction cost on their services will be 10%-15%.
Meanwhile, TFL's marketing manager Vanessa Kilner said TFL is not able to provide the exact figures for the reduced costs until all discussions and agreements have been finalized.
