The telecommunication service to Udu Point, Lomaiviti and Lau group with the exception of Vanuabalavu have been restored with test calls being made to various places on the islands.
TFL Group Manager Vanessa Kilner has confirmed that Easy Tel and VT-Sat satellite services in Lakeba have been confirmed although some VT Sat sites may be affected due to low power supply from the solar system.
Customers are therefore asked to please use these units wisely so to save power for emergency purpose.
Internet and telephony services in Oneva, Savusavu were also restored earlier today.
Telephony services in Taveuni, Kioa, Rabi, Lomaloma and Cikobia are still affected due to damage sustained at the TFL Repeater Station on Taveuni.
Service restoration to these areas will begin as soon as the weather clears.
